By the way, much as we love to hear from other artists, scriptwriters and composers, we’re really busy and unfortunately won’t be able to respond to enquiries about any work other than the positions below. Sorry, folks!

So you’ve read about Chain Reaction.
You’re excited... You’re inspired... You’re passionate... And you want to know how you can get involved... Well, here’s how!

Here we are being congratulated by Boris for our Team London Volunteer project!

Freelance Actors and Workshop Facilitators (paid)

A major part of our work involves delivering projects, including theatre performances and interactive workshops, in schools and community venues. We need positive, energetic and inspiring actors and workshop facilitators who can deliver our messages in a way that young people can relate to and understand.

As part of the Chain Reaction team you’ll be an accomplished actor with experience of working in educational theatre and a real passion for using theatre to ignite change. As the public face of the company you’ll embody the spirit of our shows and projects, you’ll be an excellent communicator with a positive upbeat attitude and you’ll be a role-model for all young people we work with. If you’re based within easy travelling distance of our base in Bromley-By-Bow/Stratford (East London) and think you fit the bill, why not send us your CV. And make sure you include a covering letter telling us why you think you’re the ideal candidate to join the Chain Reaction team! *

Volunteers and Work Experience (unpaid)

We’re constantly on the lookout for enthusiastic, organised people to join our busy team, either as a volunteer or as part of a work experience placement.

As part of the team you’ll play an essential role in the day-to-day running of the company and will experience what it’s like to work for a dynamic and exciting company producing award-winning projects. You’ll get to see what goes on behind the scenes, as well as having the opportunity to be involved in our project work out in the field.

There are a variety of interesting and exciting tasks you may be involved with including:

  • Arts Administration

  • Marketing

  • Assisting the Artistic Director and General Manager

  • Prop-making and set design

  • Assisting at workshops

All we ask is that you are reliable, punctual and enthusiastic about the work we do! In return we hope to provide you with a fun, beneficial and life-enriching experience as well as some great opportunities for professional development!

If you’re interested and want to find out more, why not send us your CV. Make sure you include a covering letter telling us what makes you the ideal candidate to join the Chain Reaction team!*

We look forward to hearing from you!
